Watched a bootleg Radiohead concert, and just enjoyed myself with a nice pot of coffee… I didn’t worry about he Birds of Wales website, Didn’t have to go to rehersal,. Didn’t have to do ANYTHING!

Birds of Wales @ Horseshoe Tavern & CD release date announced!
Birds of Wales played the Horseshoe Tavern this past monday night, and the turn out was excellent. I’d say we had about 60-70 people there, not necessarily for us, but they were there none the less, making us look good. Which makes us happy.
We’ve officially announced our CD Release party will be held at the El Mocambo on April 1st. MARK THIS DATE ON YOUR CALENDAR!! We are looking to sell out this venue, so YOU SHOULD BE THERE!

Pedal Board Update

It was a rainy/slushy/crappy night out tonight so I spent the majority of the night re-organizing my pedal board… Mainly to fit my new Ibanez Tubescreamer TS-9 (modded to the origional TS-808 specs using a chip that is suppplied by Analogman, its called “the brown MOD”). Basically, it means that it sounds sweet. And looks cool too.. Lets hope I get some use out of this pedal.

Make Footer Stick to Bottom of The Page

Its a CSS trick to position a footer at the bottom of a page nomatter how high the page it. From what i’ve heard it works in about 90% of browsers if done correctly. Heres the link:

Birds of Wales - Publicised
We were covered in the Excalibur (York University Newspaper) this week.
“Birds of Wales frontman Morgan Ross, currently a history major at York’s Glendon College, chooses his words carefully. He speaks with a level of seriousness that is rare for the age of 23, but for the manager and lead singer of the Vancouver-based indie-rock band, it is a tactic that seems to have paid off.”
